ABOUT STAN
Caring for his family, loved ones and the community for over 60 years
A father to two children and a grandfather to seven KA'H, Stanley is a dedicated, proud and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Stan moved to Sydney from South Africa almost 25 years ago; changing the landscape of the Sydney Jewish community forever.
He continually brings a smile to everyone he touches, providing a listening ear, a meal for those who need or just the time of day to have a chat.
Stanley is a gentle dentist, serving the Randwick/Maroubra area in Sydney for almost 25 years.
Sadly, he has been diagnosed with chronic kidney failure and is now in need of your URGENT help.
Stan wants to get back to doing what he loves best - being a devoted family member, caring for those around him and enjoying life.
Stan's Story & its Impact
A long and hopeful road...
Over the course of the last 6 years Stan has had to monitor and manage the deteriorating health of his kidneys, doing so with his joyful nature and enchanting smile.
Whilst remaining positive, unfortunately both of Stan's kidneys have now failed and all previous treatments and medications no longer have their desired affect.
Stan prides himself in remaining a stalwart within his family and community. While he maintains this outlook on life, he has been hurting for some time.
Unfortunately he has now begun the long and impactful process of dialysis. He will need to partake in dialysis treatments a number of times per week, significantly impacting his daily life

How you can HELP
Most people have two healthy kidneys but can live a normal, healthy life with one. For that reason, kidney transplants have become the routine treatment for kidney failure.
You do not need to be the same blood type or sex as Stan. A matching kidney would be ideal, however, a direct match is not necessary. Find out how you can help below:
